We are planning to be away around 5 months. Part of the time we would like to travel by campervan. Can anyone recommend any good reliable companies, where we could hire one from. My husband is 6ft 2, so we would like plenty of space and if possible one that came with style & table for outside eating.
Campervans are a very popular choice for travelling around Australia! Depending on what your budget is will determine the size and the condition of your van. At one end you could consider hiring a motor home; I believe Britz are one of the largest and most popular companies. This might be the most comfortable option but if you are considering hiring the van for the 5 months it could work out extremely expensive. At the other end you could always consider buying a van from either another traveller check out local papers etc) or from a car market. This is a lot cheaper but involves a lot of shopping around and could waste valuable travel days!
