sydney

Sydney is Australia's oldest city with a population of around 4 million. It’s simply spectacular covering a vast area, yet it is extremely accessible to discover by train, bus, boat, or car. It’s hip, vibrant, trendy, chic and full to the brim of attractions, events, nooks and crannies that are just waiting to be explored. The harbor and central city area is impressive and Sydney is blessed with great beaches only a stone’s throw out away in Sydney’s suburbs. The people here are friendly individuals inhabiting this sun kissed city and will make your trip to Australia a memorable one.

Sydney is hectic yet relaxed, with a refreshing mix of a mature and fresh energy, with delicious restaurants, world class museums and plenty to see and do. Sydney is sparkling with attractions and landmarks like the Harbor Bridge and Opera House, never failing to amaze. In fact, there is no better way to soak up the sights of the Sydney Harbor Bridge, than relaxing with a nice glass of chilled wine, riverside on one of the many warm and sunny Sydney days.

When to visit:

There are so many events and festivals, it’s hard to say when the best time to visit would be and combined with hundreds of sunny days a year, Sydney is a great place to visit all year round. In the peak of summer the weather is hot and can reach temperatures of up to 40oC, but if you stick to the spring or autumn months the temperatures drop to something like 25oC. In May falls the Hunter Valley Harvest Festival, for those who love fine wine, fabulous feasts with olives and cheeses, not to mention the horse racing and festivities.
