kangaroo island
Kangaroo Island is situated amid the spectacular and glorious township of Penneshaw, home to the fascinating Kangaroo bird and animal life which is native to the island. For a nature lover this is an ideal location for those special experiences, as a quarter of it is conserved in Wilderness Protection Areas, National and Conservation Parks and in over half of the island, the bush land has never been removed.
Classed as Australia’s third largest Island, and named as Kangaroo Island back in 1802 by British navigator Matthew Flinders, puts Australia on the map for its unspoilt beauty and geological wonders. The island is crawling with wildlife, wild flowers, birds and mammals. To name but a few of these amazing sights; Cape barren geese, platypuses, southern right whales, black swans, penguins, New Zealand fur seals, wildflowers, eucalyptus.
Why not spend your days with friendly people, secluded beaches, feasting on fine wine and cheeses, freshly caught lobster and oysters...
