Adelaide Hostels

adelaide hostels

Adelaide, South Australia's capital, has an abundance of hostels. Competition keeps the prices low. The hostels on Carrington and Gilles street are generally even cheaper then the hostels in the city centre. Call your hostel before you arrive in Adelaide as some of the hostels will come and pick you up from the bus station, train station and maybe even the airport! Be aware that Adelaide hostels can become a bit scarce in February during the Festival of Arts (even years) and Womadelaide (odd years) so booking in advance is advised

Cannon Street Lodge

Cannon Street Lodge CANNON STREET LODGE

One of Adelaide's grooviest hostels, Cannon Street Lodge is a huge Ware house-style-place. The hostel is laid back casual and has very few rules. Enjoy free breakfasts and a funky licensed bar conveniently placed next to the train station.
